A Hancock & Sons Morris Ware inkwell and cover designed by George Cartlidge, model no.C53-4, rectangular base with tapering well, slip decorated with berried foliage in shades of purple, blue and green on a mottled green ground printed and painted factory marks, painted facsimile signature, cover professionally restored, 13cm. wide.
