A copper glazing pot and cover, the lid with an acorn handle and with impressed marks 'G * O' and numbered '11', 18th / 19th century, 9cm high, 17cm wide.
This glazing pot would have been part of a French batterie de cuisine and would have been used for finishing bacon.
