Description

A George III mahogany patience table, with a drop-leaf top above fret carved frieze on square tapering legs, the underside with a typed paper label inscribed 'This table was originally the property of Lord Harlech. It was left Will by the then Lord Harlech (Ormsby-Gore) about 1830, along with other articles, to an old lady who had been his nurse (or housekeeper). He left her the contents of the room which had been her sitting room. These were sold on the death of her granddaughter in 1922', 70.3cm high, 32.9cm wide, 33cm deep.
