Description

A fine pair of 19th century French estours green marble and ormolu mounted columns, each with a detachable square revolving top above a Corinthian capital, the interiors stamped 'GB 296' and 'GABROL', possibly for Gaspard Brandt (1796-1846) above a turned stem and a laurel wreath base on a stepped plinth, 113.2cm high, 29cm square.
