Description
A pair of French ormolu twin light wall lights in Louis XVI style, with a ribbon tied tassel backplate decorated with buds, berries and a grapevine, the entwined acanthus scroll arms with fluted drip pans and reeded sconces, 19th century, 64.5cm high, 31.2cm wide. (2)
Provenance: By family tradition acquired from Crowther's of North End Road, London. Then at Ray Mill House, Chippenham, Wiltshire, 1975-1995, after which with the same owner at his current address.
