A late 19th century automaton 'butterfly catcher' doll in the manner of Leopold Lambert, with a bisque porcelain head indistinctly stamped 'S.GERMANY', with blue glass eyes and open mouth with a tasseled hat, velvet waist coat and knickerbockers with lace details, with moving head, bisque lower arms and butterfly and with musical accompaniment, in a later glazed mahogany display case, 68cm high, 23.8cm square.
