marks partially worn, maker's mark G?, circa 1790,
oval form, the front and back applied with a medallion of a classical maiden, beaded borders, on raised oval bases, length 9.8cm, plus a single George III salt cellar, by Langlands and Robertson, Newcastle, approx. weight 15.5oz. (5)
