made by E.S and Co, London 1952, the underside inscribed 'F.C. Bush, designer',
rectangular form, with a central fluted panel flanked by engraved decoration, with two engine-turned hinged covers and a central figure of a griffin, on a raised rectangular base, wood lined, length 26.3cm.
