A rare Castleford type teapot 1st half 19th century, applied with Britannia standing beside an obelisk, an angel holding a shield inscribed for Howe and Nelson, the reverse with motifs representing Nelson's three battles beneath a banner inscribed 'Patriots', with a hinged cover, a few small nibbles to the spout, 24.6cm.
