A black basalt commemorative teapot and cover 1st half 19th century, of flattened octagonal form, one side decorated with Britannia and an angel standing beside an obelisk titled 'Pro Patria', the angel holding a shield bearing Nelson's name, the reverse with motifs representing Nelson's three battles beneath a banner inscribed 'Trafalgar', 25cm.
