Description
A large black basalt commemorative teapot and cover 1st half 19th century, the flattened octagonal form decorated to one side with Britannia and an angel standing beside an obelisk inscribed 'Pro Patria', the angel holding a shield titled 'Nelson', the reverse with naval motifs representing Nelson's three battles, beneath a banner titled 'Trafalgar', a little restoration to the spout, 28cm.
