Description

A Victorian mahogany apothecary's box, the top with a sunken brass handle above a twin hinged front, the hinges stamped 'Patent lock joint ', the interior fitted with fifteen glass bottles and stoppers, with two drawers, one with a pestle and mortar and further bottles, the other with a set of scales and other utensils, the base stamped 'E. BENTLEY LONDON', the back with a sliding cover revealing four further bottles and stoppers, 27cm high, 23.1cm wide, 19.5cm deep.
