Description

A Victorian gilt brass inkstand by Betjemann & Sons, with a Wedgwood jasperware well, decorated with classical figures, the hinged lid stamped 'G. BETJEMANN & SONS REGISTERED 431' and with a registration lozenge for 1861, with a blue glass liner, the edge inscribed 'F. ALDIS 11 Belgrave Mansions', with rope-twist borders, the ceramic with impressed marks 'WEDGWOOD WHS D', 8cm high, 19cm diameter.
