λ A 19th century gilt brass picture frame in the form of a temple, decorated with Russian symbols, with a winged torch surmount with a crown above griffins and crowned eagles, containing an ivory portrait miniature depicting Napoleon meeting a young boy and his family and accepting a letter, with troops in the background, with an easel back, 20.5cm high.
