Description
After Sébastien Slodtz (French 1655-1726). A bronze figure of Hannibal, standing on war trophies, counting the rings of the Roman knights killed at the Battle of Cannae , late 19th / early 20th century, 34.7cm high.
The original marble figure of 1704 was sculpted by Slodtz for the gardens of Versailles.
