A Dutch silver and enamel oval snuff box,
C H maker's mark, possibly for Cornelius Herberts fl. 1710-59,
the cover set with an enamel plaque painted after David Teniers with a tavern scene of three men taking snuff, drinking and smoking a pipe, the sides with a narrow ropetwist border to the top and bottom, 9cm across.
