An 18th century French three-colour gold oval snuff box,
by Nicholas-Augustin Delions, Paris 1766,
the cover with a central patera within an oval frame hung with ribbons and supported by laurels on a lattice ground, the sides with similar paterae panels within a twisted ribbon guilloche band, length 6cm, approx. weight 62g.
