A George III silver-gilt and micromosaic mounted snuff box,
by Hockley and Bosworth, London 1815,
rectangular form, the hinged cover with a Roman micromosaic depicting a cockerel and hen in a field, foliate scroll border, the sides and base with engine-turned decoration, plain thumb-piece, length 7.5cm.
