A Chantilly silver-mounted circular snuff box,
c.1740, the cover painted with a chinoiserie scene of figures beneath a double parasol, one with a bird, another blowing a horn, between other figures carrying baskets of flowers and other objects, the shaped sides and base with further figures carrying various objects between flower sprays and flying insects, 6.7cm across.
