A George III provincial silver-mounted cowrie shell snuff box,
by Hampston, Prince and Cattles, York circa 1800,
shaped oval form, flush hinged cover with engraved decoration and with a monogram, length 7.2cm.
Purchased from Cameo Corner, for £7, probably in the late 1950's.
