A mid-17th century provincial silver Apostle spoon,
by James Birkby, Hull circa 1650,
the reverse of the bowl with scratch initials 'A.M', faceted slight tapering stem with a gilded Apostle finial, lacking emblem, length 18.3cm, approx. weight 2oz.
