A Charles I silver-gilt Apostle spoon, St. James the Greater,
by Daniel Cary, London 1638,
fig-shaped bowl, slightly tapering faceted stem, apostle finial, the nimbus with a dove, length 18.9cm, approx. weight 1.7oz.
Provenance: Purchased from Tessiers, 26 New Bond Street, London, probably in the 1950's.
