A CHINESE BRONZE VASE
LATE MING DYNASTY
The quatrefoil-section body with a broad flared rim, a lizard-like chilong with a forked tail is wrapped around the middle section, the base with a six character Xuande mark, 24cm.
Provenance: acquired by John Reeves after his arrival in Canton in 1812, and thence by descent.
