A LARGE CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE BALUSTER VASE AND COVER

KANGXI 1662-1722

The body decorated with shaped panels on a green prunus flowerhead ground, variously containing the Emperor Yao and his attendants meeting Xu You, a scholar sleeping and dreaming, a general standing before his tiger skin covered chair and other scenes of scholars, fishermen, mythical beasts and precious objects, the cover with three leaf-shaped panels of flowers, rockwork and insects, 60.1cm. (2)
