A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE BAXIAN BOWL, COVER AND LINER
IRON-RED SIX CHARACTER JIAQING MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1796-1820
Decorated with the Eight Immortals engaged in various pursuits in rocky gardens, the lion dog finial and mask side lifts gilded, the interior and base turquoise, the liner with faux bois to the underside, 18.5cm. (3)
Provenance: acquired by John Reeves after his arrival in Canton in 1812, and thence by descent.
