Description

A MASSIVE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE DISH

LATE QING DYNASTY / REPUBLIC PERIOD

Painted on the interior with two intertwining prunus branches which extend from the reverse, one branch with white flowers with a greeny-yellow tinge, the other branch with flowers with a pink tinge, two large lingzhi sprays sprout from the base of one branch and are balanced by a flowering peony to the left, the reverse with an apocryphal six character Yongzheng mark, 52.8cm.

Provenance: from the estate of Mr Klaus Henrich, purchased in the 1970s.
