A CHINESE POTTERY MODEL OF A CAMEL AND A POLO PLAYER
TANG DYNASTY 618-907 AD
The camel with a large bundle fastened to its back, the polo player with his right arm raised, with his hair arranged in a high topknot, his garment, hair, the saddle and the horse's features picked out in pigments, both animals raised on flat bases, 39.5cm max. (2)
Both with Thermoluminescence Analysis Reports, sample nos. C105b31, dated 14th January 2005 and C104m36 dated 25th May 2004.
