† A CHINESE YELLOW GROUND 'DOWAGER EMPRESS' PATTERN BOWL
19TH CENTURY
Painted en grisaille with narcissus, fruiting peach branches, lingzhi, and other flowers on a yellow ground, with Dayazhai marks to the side, the base with a four character mark for yong qing chang chun (eternal joy and everlasting spring), 10.8cm.
Provenance: formerly a West Country private collection.
