Description
A Westerwald mug c.1690, the small globular body applied with an octagonal medallion containing a portrait of Queen Mary within the inscription 'Maria. DG. Mag. Brit. France. et. Hib. Regina', flanked by panels of scrolling stalks bearing flowers picked out in blue on a glazed manganese ground, a chip to the rim, 11.5cm.
