A fine Burmantofts Faience Anglo-Persian Poseidon charger by Leonard King, model no.606, painted to the well with Poseidon riding a shell chariot pulled by sea horses, the rim with scaly fish and foliage frieze, in shades of blue, turquoise, green and aubergine on a white ground, impressed marks, painted marks LK monogram, 46.5cm. diam.
