Description

A leather jewellery box by Fischer with two removable sectioned trays and Bramah lock and containing various items of jewellery, including a plaited hair bracelet with turquoise and ruby set gold mounts, circa 1820. A gold circular locket pendant with seed pearl border. A smaller oval gold locket pendant containing hair and with enamel decoration. A crescent and shamrock brooch set with diamonds, a sapphire and a ruby. A flaming bomb design bar brooch mounted with a small pearl and rose-cut diamonds. A pentagonal silver gilt locket pendant. An opal cameo depicting a Roman soldier, of female slavery interest. A clear glass intaglio depicting a kneeling black woman in chains within the motto 'Am I not a woman and a sister',1.5cm high. A George III silver vinaigrette with pierced grill, marked for Birmingham 1775, 2.8cm wide. A gold brooch mounted with three oval moss agates, plaques etc.
