An Austrian cold painted bronze bird inkwell by Bergman, modelled as a thrush, its neck hinged to reveal a ceramic liner, standing on a naturalistic base, stamped 'BERGMAN', 'GESCHUTZT' twice and 'A59 459', late 19th / early 20th century, 13cm high, 17.1cm long.
