Description
An Italian painted chicken skin Grand Tour fan, with probably horn sticks and guards, the guard with an enamel clock dial, the fan painted in gouache with a central scene of the Roman Forum, flanked by eagles and ribbon tied swags and urns, late 18th / early 19th century, 31.5cm wide, later mounted in a glazed display case.
