Description
A Victorian mahogany Campaign decanter box, the hinged lid inset with a brass plaque and inscribed 'Major James Duff 23rd Rt Welch Fusiliers', the interior with four glass decanters, two with silver plated lids, with a Hobb's patent lock and sunken brass side carrying handles, 26.6cm high, 20.4cm wide, 17.9cm deep.
Colonel James Duff (1831 - 22 December 1878) was a British Army officer and Conservative Party politician from Westwick in Norfolk.
