A Victorian silver engraved vinaigrette,
by Edward Smith, Birmingham 1845,
shaped rectangular form, the hinged cover with a lake scene, with boats, houses and hills behind, the sides and base with engraved foliate scroll decoration, the base with an initialled cartouche, the interior with a pierced and engraved silver-gilt grille, pin lacking, length 4cm, approx. weight 0.9oz.
