Description
An Italian Tuscan walnut refectory table in Renaissance style, the boarded rectangular top on carved cartouche trestle ends, decorated with scrolling leaves and rondels and on paw feet, united by a shaped stretcher, the table is collapsible, possibly used for travelling, 17th century elements and later, 80.5cm high, 230.2cm long, 93.6cm wide.
Provenance: Purchased by the current vendor's grandfather in Italy in the 1930's.
