'U.S.S Quillback' a cast metal model on scalloped wooden base 98cm long The U.S.S Quillback 424 submarine was built at Portsmouth Navy Yard in America, commissioned in 1945. She was one of 30 Tench class vessels capable of diving to 312 feet and had a surface speed of 20 knots.
