A George III mahogany bureau bookcase, with a detachable cornice, above a pair of astragal glazed doors, enclosing three adjustable shelves, the interior with a later leather writing surface, with pigeon holes and drawers flanking a central cupboard, with a pair of secret pilaster compartments above four long graduated drawers, with beaded brass handles and escutcheons, 221.2cm high, 112.8cm wide, 47.3cm deep.
