A William IV mahogany writing table in the manner of Gillows, the top inset with three panels of gilt tooled brown leather, with a central hinged slope on a ratchet and with a detachable rest, flanked by a pair of sliding covers revealing a compartment to the left, the right with pen and ink divisions, above a cedar lined drawer, on lappet carved baluster supports, scroll feet and sunken brass castors, 76.5cm high, 91cm wide, 45.6cm deep.
