Description
A Victorian papier-mâché sewing table cabinet, the hinged lid painted with a waterfront palace, revealing a silk lined interior with divisions for cotton reels, and a lift-out tray originally fitted for utensils, above a pair of cupboard doors painted with a Constantinople crypt scene with merchants, the side continuing the view, the interior with six short and two long drawers painted with birds, butterflies and trees, on bun feet, 38.2cm high, 38.5cm wide, 19.7cm deep.
