Description
Wenceslaus Hollar (Czech 1607-1677). An engraved panorama of 'Graenwich', viewing the Tudor and Stuart palace complex looking slightly west of north from the top of Greenwich Park, titled and with a cartouche with a Latin verse with an English translation and signed 'W. Hollar fecit', 'London Printed and Sould by Peter Stent at the Crowne in Giltspur Street betwixt new Gate and pie corner', state IV c. 1642, 15.2 x 83.7cm, in a later mounted and glazed oak frame.
