Description

A 17th century bell metal skillet, the handle cast 'C.V.B. Loyal to His Majesty', repaired foot, 18.5in (47cm) long, a 19th century oval copper kettle and a brass preserving pan. (3) The cast inscription to the skillet's handle starts with initials CVB, the V is probably a U and is a crytogram for 'See you be...' to Charles I or II.
