baluster form, part-fluted decoration, scroll handle, bird mask capped spout, domed hinged cover with a fluted finial, inscribed 'Officer's Mess 3rd battalion King's Royal Rifles from Lt. Col. Donald Browne, 1894', on a circular foot, height 26.5cm, approx. weight 30oz.
