An early 19th century Scottish provincial silver wine label,

by James Erskine, Aberdeen circa 1800,

rectangular form, canted corners, reeded border, with a raised shield pediment, engraved with a crest, incised 'WHISKY', length 4.6cm, approx. weight 0.3oz.

The crest and motto are those of Harvey of Scotland.
