A George II silver salver,
by Robert Abercromby, London 1742,
circular form, shell and scroll border, the centre with a crest, the underside with a later inscription and facsimile signatures, diameter 27cm, approx. weight 17.5oz.
The crest is that recorded for a number of families including: Datmer, Mittlewell, Owen, Scroggs and Stringer.
