maker's mark worn, London 1797,
oval form, reeded swing-handle and borders, the centre with an armorial, on a raised oval foot, length 35.5cm, approx. weight 23.5oz.
The arms are those of Cathrall of Freeman engraved on a lozenge for a spinster.
