An Edwardian silver-gilt compact,
with import marks for Birmingham 1907, importer's mark of Steinhart & Co
bag form, textured surface with sapphires, the interior with two sovereign holders, a mirror, a compact, an aide memoire, two hinged compartments and a clip, the base with a pencil, and with a chain attachment, length 12.5cm, approx. weight 7oz.
