A pair of silver pepper pots,
by the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company, London 1938,
octagonal baluster form, on raised octagonal bases, the undersides of the bases inscribed 'Neville Chamberlain September 1938, height 10.5cm, approx. weight 5.4oz. (2)
On the 15th September 1938 Neville Chamberlain met Adolf Hitler at his summer retreat on the Austrian Border.
