A RARE TIBETAN BRONZE PALA-STYLE FIGURE OF BUDDHA

12TH/13TH CENTURY

Seated, meditating on a double lotus throne, wearing diaphanous robes, his right hand touches the ground in bhumisparshamudra, his left hand rests on his knee in dhyanamudra, his eyes and urna inlaid with silver, his lips with copper and ushnisha with a red jewel, 17cm.
