A RARE CHINESE JIAN OIL-SPOT GLAZED BOWL

SONG DYNASTY OR LATER

The conical body coated with thick black glaze with regular brown markings, the glaze falling short of the foot revealing the unglazed biscuit body, 12.5cm.

Provenance: from the collection of Francis Golding (1944-2013), purchased from Michael Willcox on 12th February 2002, a copy of the original invoice is available.
